Insulation Breakthrough Delivers Solution For Steel-Framed Construction

With the BCA 2007 Energy Provisions requiring a thermal break for many steel-framed constructions, builders and suppliers have found the perfect solution in Air-Cell Insulation's new Insulbreak™ range (Patent Pending: 2006903182).

Addressing the issue of heat conductivity, or thermal bridging, across building elements, Insulbreak™ delivers the minimum R0.2 thermal break required for steel-framed wall and many steel-framed roof applications.

Installed between the roof or wall cladding and the steel frame, Insulbreak™ delivers thermal break compliance as well as acting as a high performance insulation and vapour barrier all in one easy application.  Air-Cell Insulbreak™ is one of the first products in Australia to deliver this three-in-one solution.

Manufactured with a patented closed-cell foam structure sandwiched by highly reflective foil surfaces, Insulbreak™ is the latest in fibre-free, non-allergenic, and non-itchy insulation technology from Air-Cell Insulation.

Air-Cell Insulbreak™ is compliant with AS/NZS 4859.1 and AS/NZS 4200.1. Check with your local State authority for applications that are affected by this requirement.
