US Tour Report

On 8th May, 2008, a small group of GreenSmart Leaders and Partners left Australia to take part in a Green Building tour of the United States as part of the GreenSmart program. The tour group visited a range of projects in Tuscon, Arizona and New Orleans, Louisiana in addition to the Green Building Conference.

Close to 40 GreenSmart finalist entries or accredited homes, display villages, developments and estates were open to the public for GreenSmart on Display on 31 May and 1 June, 2008. The event attracted significant media attention and was well received by exhibitors and consumers alike.
